Non-Trivial is a free online research and project incubator for talented teenagers passionate about tackling the world's most pressing problems.
I joined the program this year as a Research Fellow and received a scholarship. I love the research guidance and mentorship. The research guidance is very detailed and extremely helpful to students, especially to those without any research experience. The mentor assigned to each student is always nice and knowledgeable. I really appreciate my mentor, who suggested that I use a statistical analysis tool to analyze my research results — and I used it in all my subsequent research papers!
But what I love even more is the incredible community. It's a place where you can connect with talented peers from around the world, including the USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, France, Germany, and many other countries. All of them have received various academic competition awards, science fair awards, or humanities awards, or have published research papers!
The program's Discord community is especially amazing! There are many discussion groups where you can always find people who share your research interests, exchange ideas, explore challenging questions, and work together toward innovative solutions. Being surrounded by so many motivated and talented students makes the entire research journey even more exciting and rewarding!
I absolutely love this program and highly recommend it to anyone passionate about research and innovation!
