Investment Lectures
(2025 - 2026)

In the 2025-2026 academic year, the finance and investment lectures will cover key topics, including:

• Concepts and Ideas of Value Investment (the investing philosophies of renowned investors like Warren Buffett, Philip Fisher, and Peter Lynch)

• Use of Stock Investment Tools and Charts

• Main Asset Classes: stocks, bonds, commodities, real estate investment trusts (REITs), cash, and their characteristics and risks

• Stock Market Indices, Major Sectors, and Related Index Funds and Sector Funds

• Classic Investment Portfolios, Portfolio Design, and metrics for evaluating portfolio and fund performance​

• Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis (new)

• Understanding Income Statement, Balance Statement, and Cash Flow Statement (new)

• Macroeconomics (new)

Topics not covered in the lectures include any short-term speculative trading strategies, any leveraged strategies (such as margin or options), and any strategies that require daily monitoring of the market.
