About the Hoperation Fund
The Hoperation Fund is a student-led charitable investment fund committed to raising capital, investing in the stock market, and directing its profits to often-overlooked nonprofits, especially those supporting human welfare, environmental protection, and education in underserved communities.
At the same time, we seek to bridge the gap between school and real life by helping students develop essential financial skills that are often overlooked in traditional education, including saving, budgeting, and investing, so they are better prepared to take charge of their financial future.

[October 10] On October 9–10, 2026, Hoperation Fund hosted a fundraising booth at the McKinney Asian Art & Food Festival, raising $180 through a charity sale of books, stationery, and bookmarks. The event was made possible by the efforts of Aurora C., Chloe L., Daniel L., Hanke C., Isabella W., and Olivia Z., with generous support from parents and our advisors. A big thank-you to everyone who participated and supported our mission!
[October 4] The Hoperation Fund will hold its 121st meeting on Sunday, October 4, from 7:00–8:00 PM Central Time. The meeting will feature an update on the Hoperation Fund’s investment portfolio, foundational financial literacy and investing concepts, and advanced investing topics designed to help students prepare for high school investment competitions. We will also announce a stock pitch competition as a new fundraising initiative.
[October 2] The Hoperation Fund will be at the McKinney Asian Art and Food Festival in early October, and we're really excited about it. The festival celebrates Asian culture with art, food, and live performances, and we're happy to be part of it. Come say hi, hear about what we do, and check out the festival while you're there.
